Mrs. Floyd Gardner, 39, died suddenly at 7 a.m. this morning at her home, 304 West Main st., West Lafayette, following 15 years' illness.

Madelyn West, was born Jan. 24, 1919, at West Lafayette, a daughter of Guy and Ethel Eckelberry West. Dec. 24, 1935, she was married to Floyd Gardner, who survives.

Also surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy West, Coshocton Route 3; one son, Harold Raymond of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Spear, Coshocton Route 4; two brothers, Guy West, Jr., Coshocton, and Rodney West, Coshocton Route 5;two sisters, Mrs. Walter Machwart, Keene, and Mrs. Joe Cole, Newcomerstown Route 2, and one grandchild. One daughter is deceased.

Funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Bonnell funeral home, West Lafayette, with Rev. James C. Cox, officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 8 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
