WEST LAFAYETTE - Mrs. Fern Miller, 73, of 409 W. Main St., here died at 1:10 a.m. today in Coshocton County Memorial Hospital, following a long illness.

She was born in Coshocton County on May 30, 1902, to Thomas and Mary Philabaum West. Mrs. Miller was employed at the Moore Enameling Co. here for several years.

Surviving are a son, Russell J. Miller, Sarasota, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Howell, here, two sisters, Mrs. Roy (Daisy) Benning, here; Mrs. Opal Simmons, Chili; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

One sister and two brothers are deceased.

Services will be in the Given West Lafayette Funeral Home here with the Rev. Orville Wilson, pastor of the West Lafayette United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery. Calling hour will be from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
