Mrs. George Farrell Succumbs today at Canal Lewisville Home

Mrs. George Farrell 77, Canal Lewisville, died at 5 a.m. this morning at her home, following a lingering illness.

She was born Feb. 29, 1868, in White Eyes township, the daughter of Alexander and Magnolia Philabaum. On Dec. 25, 1890, she was married to George Farrel, who survives. Mrs. Farrel was a member of the Kimball church. For 53 years theFarrel family lived on a farm on Fresno rout and moved to Canal Lewisville to years ago.

Surviving are the husband, one daughter, Mrs. Leroy Dawson of Canal Lewisville; two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. Sarah Caton of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Victoria Caton of Cleveland, Mrs. Erma Suntheimer,Fresno, and Mrs. Mary Jarvis, Fresno route, and one brother, George Philabaum. One brother and one sister are deceased.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the home in Canal Lewisville, with Rev. Russell E. Hoy officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery, Fresno. Friends will be received at the home in Canal Lewisville afternoonFriday.
