NEWCOMERSTOWN: Norma Eileen Cole, 88, of 1100 East State Rd., Newcomerstown, died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Riverside Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born on August 25, 1923 in Alliance to the late Guy and Ethel (Eckelberry) West. She was a homemaker and attended the Canal Lewisville Methodist Church. She and her husband Joseph Cole were married on December 24, 1940, whopreceded her in death. Norma is survived by her two daughters, Janice (Richard) Elliott of Warsaw and Doris ( Richard) Durben of Newcomerstown; her sister, Norene Machwart of Newark; and numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband; she was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas and William Cole; three grandchildren, Timothy, Randy and Edward Joseph Cole; two brothers, Rodney and Guy West Jr.; and a sister, Madeline Gardner. Services will be Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Addy Funeral Home with Tim Smith officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, June 30, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Addy Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the donors choice.
