Gwen writes, '... Lodemia (dau of Levi Salsbury Alwood) or her husband Thomas J. Travis. (This Travis seems to have appeared out of nowhere.) these are my g-grandparents. ... Before that all I knew was from elderly family members'memories. ... Tullahoma [Coffee Co., TN] which is where family tradition had said was Lodemia home. ... One newspaper abstract recounted the marriage of Lodemia and Thomas J. Travis. I have not been able to determine what happened toher first husband. The had two children by Parker and three by Travis. Lodemia and Thomas are buried in Mt. Olivet cemetery in Washington, DC.'

She married twice. She married Adam Eugene Parker (1856-1940) in Michigan, 1878. Adam was born in Eaton Co., Michigan 12 April 1856. Adam was the son of George D. Parker and Martha Mascho. Adam died 29 December 1940 in Grand Ledge,Eaton Co., Michigan, at 84 years of age. She married Thomas J. Travis in Manchester, Coffee Co., TN, 24 January 1892. ...

Thomas was born about 1870. Thomas died abt 1911. His body was interred abt 1911 in Washington, D.C., Glenwood Cemetery, D.C. Thomas's occupation: Printer.

Lodemia's occupation: teacher in Ohio, bef 1892. She converted to Catholicism at the age of 50.

Lodemia Alwood and Thomas J. Travis had the following children: + 2 i. Allie Travis Manning was born on (birth date unknown + 3 ii. Thomas Alwood Travis Sr was born 08 August 1895 + 4 iii. Stanley Travis was born 08-22-04. Stanley died jan 1978 at 73 years of age. He married Marian Travis. Marian was born 8 Jan. 1904. J. Marian died August 1984.

Lodemia Alwood and Adam Eugene Parker had the folowing children: 5 iv. Delilah Parker was born on (firth date unknown). She married Charlie Taylor 6 v. Minnie Myrtle Parker was born in Cass City, Tuscola Co., Michigan 27 November 1879. Minnie died 29 December 1951 in Seattle, King Co., Washington at 72 years of age. She married three times. She married Elmer Leroy Cumings. Shemarried Corelli. She married Durham.'
