Ramsey Services Planned Friday for Mrs. H. Gruis, Sr.

Funeral services for Mrs. Herman Gruis, Sr,, 81, of Buffalo Center, will be held today, (Thursday) May 8, at 1:30 p.m. at Ramsey Reformed Church near Titonka. Mrs. Gruis passed away Monday May 5, at the Buffalo Center Hospital.

Interment will be in the church cemetery and Winter Funeral Service of Buffalo Center is in charge of arrangements. Rev. John Janssen and Rev. Henry Vander Schaaf are the officiating clergymen. Pallbearers are Walter Aukes, Ben Heyes,Amel Limberg, Bennie Limberg, Fred Krull and Harm Risius.

Mrs. Gruis was born Grace Meinders, January 8, 1888, Alexander, Iowa. She was married to Herman Gruis March 22, 1911 at Titonka. They farmed until retiring to Buffalo Center. Mr. Gruis died May 22, 1961, in a car accident.

Survivors are five children, Ben Herman, Jr., Mrs. Jennie Ricks Mrs. Dorothy Rippentrop, all of Buffalo Center, and Mrs. Herman (Wyona) Harms of Titonka; 2 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, George Meinders ofBuffalo Center and John Meinders of Klemme." <>
