RITES HELD FOR THEODORE EPPLE, 68

Theodore Epple was born in Ohio on February 15, 1896, and passed away suddenly at his home in Aredale at the age of 68 years.

He lived in Mitchell County for 25 years and near Hampton for a few years. He went into the repair business in Aredale on January 1st 1949, and retired from that business eight years ago.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Wayne of Hampton, Orrie, who is stationed with the Navy in Oahu, Honolulu, Hawaii, and Ross of Mesa, Arizona; six daughters, Mrs. Eldo (Jene) Scott of Orchard, Mrs. Glen (Kathleen) Harms of Muscoda, Wisconsin, Mrs. Paul (Arlene) Axiotis of Hampton, Mrs. Willard (Yvonne) Scott of Mason City, Mrs. Harvey (Barbara) Sweiter of Hampton and Mrs. David (Lois) Novak of Highland, Wisconsin.

Also surviving are 24 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, two brothers in Ohio and other relatives.

Funeral services were conducted May 22nd at 1:30 p.m. at the Gospel Hall at Hitesville by Paul Elliott and Robert Orr.
Burial was held in the Hitesville Cemetery.
