"Larry Balvance, 58

Larry J. Balvance, 58, of Shakopee, Minnesota died at his home in Shakopee Sunday, August 21, 2005. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 24 at the First Presbyterian Church in Shakopee with Rev. Wayne Herstad officiating.Pallbearers were Steve Giordano, Andrew, Brent, Justin and Nicholas Vogt and Tom Wick. Honorary pallbearers were Larry Coon, Dennis Furtney, Greg Reynolds, Steve Sinnen, David Vogt, Call Wick and Gary Willemsen. Interment was in theValley Cemetery in Shakopee. Funeral arrangements through Cavanaugh-McNearney Funeral Home.

Larry J. Balvance, the son of Lawrence and Edna (Sleper) Balvance was born October 9, 1946 in Buffalo Center. He married Carol L. Vogt January 25, 1969 in Olivia, Minnesota. He was a retired sales representative for Wesson Foods and co-0wner of Minnesota Valley Balloons. He was a member of the Balloon Federation of America.

Larry is survived by wife, Carol; sons, Jon and Katrina Balvance and Patrick and Kimberly Balvance all of Shakopee; his mother, Edna Balvance of Buffalo Center; and his sisters, Beth Nienow of St. Charles and Jean (Rick) Faber of Omaha,Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his father."

Shakopee is at the border of Carver, Scott, & Hennipen counties.
