Notes about Elizabeth Fowler


Elizabeth Fowler, whose name may be Caroline Elizabeth, or there may be another daughter named
Caroline (there is a birth slot for her in 1799), married about 1809 Isaac Simmons (b. 4/8/1786 d.
3/8/1864) the son of another neighbor family. This is Lyda Wittington's DAR line #121566.

In 1820 they are listed as Simmonds but are living side by side with Daniel Fowler. They have a son and a
daughter 10-16 and two sons 0-10. In 1850 They have three childern, all born in Ala. Their known children
were Rebecca, (b. 1829), Jane Catherine (b. 1834), Isaac (b. 1839), Malissa (b. 1842), but there must
have been at least three others. Elizabeth died 9/17/1857 in Pike County, Ala.
