Notes about Adolph van Gelre

Hij kreeg op 13 mei 1593 commissie als kapitein in het Staatse leger, nam in 1614 deel aan de operaties in het Gulikse (Het Staatse Leger, deel III, uitg. 1915, pag.229 noemt echter als kapitein in 1620 een Adolf van Gelder, heer van Welp. Wellicht was dat de Adolph die in 1608 nog onmondig was).
