Indien die oupa wel Melt VAN DER SPUIJ was, is sy weduwee Maria VAN DER POEL in 1740 vir ‘n tweede keer getroud met Carl Georg WIESER, wat op 9 Augustus 1734 die plaas Groot Constantia gekoop het. By sy dood in 1759, koop sy stiefseun Jacobus VAN DER SPUY (Aletta se broer?) Groot Constantia op 8 Junie 1759, wat hy besit tot hy dit kort voor sy dood in 1778 aan Jan SERRURIER verkoop.
