By sy dood in 1759, koop sy stiefseun Jacobus VAN DER SPUY (Aletta se broer?) Groot Constantia op 8 Junie 1759, wat hy besit tot hy dit kort voor sy dood in 1778 aan Jan SERRURIER verkoop.
