Death of Geo. F. Lucky
George Franklin Lucky died Monday morning, Oct. 31, at the home of his son, Joe [sic] Lucky, 409 B Street, at the age of 59 years, 8 months and 9 days.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Richardson
parlors, conducted by R. E. Deadman.
George Franklin Lucky was born at DuBois, Nebr., Feb. 22, 1873. He grew to manhood on the family homestead at DuBois. He was md. to Florida Polk at Goff, Kans., Feb. 21, 1897. To this union were born twelve children, six boys and six girls.
He leaves his widow and twelve children: Mrs. Cecil Powell, Mrs. Robert
Marth, Grace, Helen, Loretta, Jacksonia, Keith, Ivan Edgar, DeElden of Roca,
Ben of Fairbury and Archie of Kenosha, Wis. He is survived by 12
grand-children.
