"1D2B1F Henry, s/o Philip Ringo and Margaret "Peggy" _______, b. 2-4-1783, Loudoun Co., Va. In 1808 married Katherine *Pleakenstalver or Pleakanstalver, b. 10-7-1786, d. 4-13-1866 in Montgomery Co., Kentucky. Appears in 1810 census Montgomery Co., Ky., 1830 census Fleming Co., Ky., and Fleming Co., Ky. Tax List 1833-1848. A deed dated 31st August 1840 shows Henry Ringo and his wife Catherine giving to Thomas L. Ringo and William M. Ringo five acres, saw and griss (sic) mil, same conveyed to Henry Ringo by John Botts on September 6, 1834. Also Henry Ringo to Burtis Ringo a share in water grist mill in consideration, co-signer of note for #700.00 to Lewis Markwell. Attest witness: L. R. Ringo.
"In 1850 census widow and children at Ringo's Mill, Fleming Co., Kentucky. 1860 census Fleming Co., Ky. shows widow living with son James and his family. Henry Ringo died 1-8-1849 and is buried at Eden Chapel near Hillsboro, Fleming Co., Ky. at the side of his wife who died 4-13-1866. Henry and Katherine had ten children....."
