Claude Edward Jordan had no children. Claude lived with his father, Joseph "Joe" Andrew Jordan, almost all of his life. During World War II, Claude was unable to serve his country because of a recurring illness, rabbit fever, he had received from an infected rabbit's fur. He wanted to serve his country, so he signed up to serve in Panama, working on the Panama Canal. When he returned home, to Findlay, IL, he and Lorraine lived with Joe on the family farm. After Joe and Claude died, Lorraine, and her daughter, by a previous marriage, left the farm, and Lorraine remarried. (CJH)
