    Sister Paulette was born Luella Hake on July 9, 1934, at Tipton and entered the Community in 1956. She taught music and gave private lessons in schools at Manhattan, Salina, Concordia and Grand Island, Neb., before beginning work in parish ministry in Concordia and Manhattan. She later worked at the Beloit Youth Center and was coordinator of the Mitchell County Aging Services, Beloit. She resigned from active ministry in the fall of 1994 and moved to the Medaille Center, Salina.
    Survivors include three sisters, Rosemary Joslyn of Wichita, Margaret Eck of Beloit and Etta Walkerof Hemet, Calif.; and three brothers, Clarence, Arthur and Norman, all of Tipton.
    The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Nazareth Convent, Concordia, Monsignor James Hake officiating. Burial will be in Nazareth Motherhouse Cemetery. A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Nazareth Convent Sister Christine Doman eulogist.
    Memorials may be made to St. Boniface Catholic Church, Tipton, or Brazil Mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph. Visitation will be at the Convent after noon Thursday. The Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, 325 W. Sixth, Concordia 66901, is handling arrangements.
