    Arthur Henry Hake
    TIPTON — Arthur Henry Hake, 68, Tipton, died Monday, March 16, 1998, at Salina Regional Health Center. Mr. Hake was born Feb. 22, 1930, at Tipton and was an area resident most of his life. He was a Korean War Army veteran, managed Hake Grain Co. until 1979, worked for Hake Hardware and later worked for Moritz Lumber Co. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, both of Tipton; American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6242, both of Beloit. He served on the Tipton City Council and volunteer fire department.
    Survivors include his wife, Norma Jean of the home; a son, Lynn of Dallas; three daughters, Jolene Magrel of Lawrence, Kelly Smith of Fullerton, Calif., and Shelly Hake of Niedernhausen, Germany; two brothers, Clarence and Norman, both of Tipton; three sisters, Rosemary Joslyn of Wichita, Margaret Eck of Beloit and Etta Jean Walker of Hemet, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
    The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, the Rev. Albert DeSanctis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A vigil will be at 7p.m. Wednesday
    at the church.
    Memorials may be made to the church memorial trust fund.
    Domoney Funeral Home, 817 Morgan, Downs 67437, is handling arrangements.
