    CONCORDIA - Sister Luella Hake, 79, Concordia, died Tuesday, June 2, 1992, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Concordia.
    Sister Luella was born Caroline Hake on May 1, 1913, at Tipton.
    She was received into the Sisters of St. Joseph on March 19, 1930, and given the name of Sister Luella. She made temporary vows on March 20, 1933, and final vows on Aug. 15, 1936. She was a lifelong teacher in primary school education, teaching in parish schools staffed by members of the congregation. From 1933 until her retirement in 1990, she taught schools at Damar, Park, Concordia, Herndon, Manhattan, Boonville, Mo., Chicago and Grand Island, Neb. From 1958 to 1968, she served on the faculty at Marymount College, Salina, where she trained and supervised students in the elementary education program. Occasionally she contributed articles for the primary teacher in The Catholic School Journal. When she retired to the Motherhouse in Concordia, she continued serving the sisters in residence and in care of the chapel.
    Survivors include two sisters, Anna Hake Moritz of Tipton and Pauline Hake Thull of Beloit; a brother, Herman Hake of Tipton; and nieces and nephews.
    A scripture service will be at 7 p.m. today at the Motherhouse Chapel. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Nazareth Cemetery. The Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, 325 W. Sixth, Concordia, 66901, is in charge of arrangements.
