    'Nog niet zo heel lang geleden vierde ze haar 87 ste verjaarda, waarnaar ze mat graagte had uitgezien. Want ze wilde leven. Ook de laatste tijd, ton haar krachten sterk achteruit gingen, gaf ze de moed niet op. Ze bleef hopen op beterschap. Maar haar leven was voltooid en dat zag ze op het laatst ook zelf in en in groot geloof heeft ze dat toen ook aanvaard. Rustig en kalm en in volle overgave aan haar Heer is zijn gestorven.


    Ze was een bijzonder goede moeder voo rhaar kinderen en een lieve oma voor haar kleikinderen, die graag even bij haar op bezoek kwamen. Een vrouw ook met een diep christelijk geloof, die de dingen van het leven , ook de moeilijk, vanuit dat geloof bezag en verklaarde. Nu is zij gestorven  en , ogaschoon zij zeer oud is geworden zullen wij haar erg missen. We zullen haar niet vergeten. "
