In het Ondertrouwboek Groningen 1755-1762, folio 86 staat op 15 januari 1757 het voorgenomen huwelijk geregistreerd van Aaldrik Jans, van Hoogezand, met belastinge op 't Hogezend met Janna Willems, van Groningen, pro qua Pieter Jans als vader (N.b. vader is Willem Jans). Registratie vindt ook plaats in Hoogezand op 23 januari 1757, alwaar op 2 februari 1757 attestatie wordt verleend.Daar wordt het bruidspaar vermeld als Aaldrik Jans, van Kalkwijk en Janna Willems, van Groningen. Op 3 februari 1757 wordt in de Nieuwe Kerk in Groningen het huwelijk bevestigd door ds. R. Albarthoma.
