Notes about Maria Ferdinanda Johanna "Marie" van de LAAK

Marie heeft in 1917 een half jaar bij de familie van haar moeder in Gammelke gewoond ivm haar reuma-aandoening. Later ging ze werken als spoelster bij de Nedrlandse kantoen Spinnerij te Hengelo.
Na het ontslag van haar man (Gerard Wienk) bij de gieterij van Stork, begon Marie een winkeltje in de voorkamer van haar ouderlijk huis aan de Steenbakkerweg 18. In 1934 verhuisde ze haar winkel mnaar de Haaksbergerstraat 55 (later Industriestraat) In 1938 verhuisde ze naar nummer 59 en in 1941 begon ze met een brei-inrichting. Iv.m. bombardementen verhuisde ze de zaak naar de Enschedesestraat 232. De winkel verhuisde later nogmaals. Nu naar de Industriestraat 60 en later naar nr 185.
