Notes about Maria Elisabeth SCHOLTEN

Mrs. G.H. (Henry) Aalders passed on at Alton Monday morning, August 12. Although a semi-invalid, her death came as a shock to her many friends here. She was a member of the pioneer Scholten family, coming to the Alton vicinity with her parents in 1872 when just an infant. Her whole life was spent in this community, where she reared a fine family and was loved by many friends.
