Notes about Evert Jan SCHOLTEN

Evert Scholten, son of Evert and Maria, brother of Dirk, emigrated with his son William Karel, wife and family in 1913. This was verified by the ships list. This was about 25 years or so after Dirk emigrated. Their son Albert stayed behind in Holland and Married Altje Dijk. He died in 1941 at the age of 49. Other information indicates that they settled in Pipestone, MN, North Dakota and Lyndon WA.
