Notes about Johan Karel LAGERWEIJ

Johan zorgde voor een wat ernstiger soort opschudding door voor de tweede maal een meisje Honcoop te trouwen, nadat hij van het eerste gescheiden was.
Dit leidde ertoe dat Tine en haar verloofde Pieter Laurens Honcoop, van hun ouders geen toestemming kregen om te trouwen en
daarom moesten wachten tot ze meerderjarig waren en toentertijd was dat pas met 30 jaar!
Door dit voorval werden beide families in twee kampen opgesplitst, iets wat tot op de dag van vandaag zijn sporen bij hun nakomelingen heeft nagelaten.
Johan’s oudste kleinzoons, Enno en Bonno Wenckebach, uit het eerste huwelijk van zijn dochter Annie, trokken naar Uruguay en hebben alle contact met de familie verbroken.
Ook zoon Jan uit zijn tweede huwelijk wilde geen enkel contact meer met de familie.
Hij is rond 1950 naar Australië vertrokken en niemand weet of hij getrouwd is en of hij kinderen kreeg:
hoogstwaarschijnlijk wèl.
Het bevolkingsregister meldt over Johan dat hij op 4 oktober 1897 naar Barneveld vertrok vanwaar hij op 17 juli 1898 weer terugkwam in Zutphen.
Op 20 oktober van datzelfde jaar vertrekt hij dan naar Delft om er te gaan studeren.
