Ter nagedachtenis aan Petrus Johannes Smits, weduwnaar van MargriethaKramer. Geboren te Zegwaart op 13 juni 1880 overleed hij na eenkortstondige ziekte, geheel onverwacht, op 18 december 1969 te Nootdorp.Wij hebben hem 22 december d.a.v. gebracht naar zijn laatste rustplaatsop de begraafplaats van de St. Nicolaasparochie te Zoetermeer. God heefthem in een goede gezondheid een hoge ouderdom gegeven. Daardoor hebbenvelen vreugde moge beleven aan zijn vriendelijkheid en wijsheid. Envooral in de laatste jaren, toen zijn vrouw er niet meer was, hebben ookvelen liefde en zorg aan hem mogen besteden. Hij zal allen dankbaargedenken nu hij bij de Heer is. We zullen zijn bekende verschijningmissen langs de wegen, waar we hem toch zo vaak wandelend en genietendtegenkwamen; graag had hij de lente nog een keer meegemaakt; wevertrouwen dat hij is opgenomen in de Eeuwige lente van het Leven bijGod. Heer geef en de eeuwige rust. Voor uw hartelijk blijk van medelevenbij het overlijden van onze innig geliefde vader, behuwd-, grootvader enbroer Petrus Johannes Smits betuig ik U, namens de verdere familie,gaarne mijn oprechte dank.
