She was born on the farm and lived in the home place and cared for her parents during their declining years and until their deaths. Mary married James Nash in 1898 after the passing of her parents. (He was the father of Uncle Frank´s wife. Aunt Arminta or Aunt Minta, as she was known to everyone.) Mary carried on the family tradition of hospitality at the old home place. There was always company and seeing her was a treat for everyone. Mr. Nash passed away in 1915 and she lived only a short while longer, passing away in May of 1917. Aunt Eva and Uncle Ralph Davidson took care of her in her last days and inherited the old homeplace.
