Notes about John Sherren

John was left land at Broadmayne in the will of his uncle,Henry Sheren, in 1752. The will states that if John did not have any children, then the land would go to his brother Robert. Since John did indeed have no children, the land was inherited by Robert. John may not have been married either. John was a juror in 1780,85 and1790, because of the land he owned in Broadmayne, which his cousin James was the occupier. Land tax of 17/111/2 d was paid by him each year from 1780 to 1786.
John died intestate with the administration of his estate, dated 1791, names John's brother and two other men as administrators.
