De hier verzamelde informatie is gebaseerd op het genealogisch onderzoek mijn ouders hebben afgerond in 1999. De voorouders van vaders kant komen voor een groot deel uit Assendelft in de Zaanstreek (Schoone, IJff, Jongejans, Boet) en Groningen (Ploeg, Veenhoff), terwijl die van mijn moeder uit de buurt van Haarlem (Smit, Paulen) en Beilen (Strijk, Vredeveld) komen.
