DEATH CLAIMS MR. VONFANGE

Funeral Rites to Be Held Friday for Well-known Farmer.

Benjamin VonFange, 63, husband of Mrs. Hannah VonFange, died at 11:45

o'clock Tuesdaynight at his home on the Louisville road near Walesboro. He

had lived in his present home since his marriage in 1912, and was actively

engaged in farming.

Short funeral rites will be conducted at 1:45 o'clock Friday afternoon at

the Flanigan, Reed and Hull funeral home, and at 2 o'clock at St. Peter's

Lutheran church. Rev. A.E. Brauer will be in charge of services. Burial

will be in Garland Brook cemetery. The casket will be open from noon

Thursday at the funeral home until time for services.

Mr. VonFange was born south of Columbus and lived all of his life in this

community. He was a member of the Lutheran church.

Surviving with his widow are his sons, Aaron VonFange, East Columbus;

Weldon VonFange at home, and Walter VonFange Walesboro; his daughter, Mrs.

Hazel Moorman, Cortland; five grandchildren; his brothers, John, Fred and

Martin VonFange, and his sisters, Miss Selma VonFange, Miss Clara VonFange,

Miss Hannah VonFange and Mrs. Emma Welmer, all of this community.
