Glenda Louise Kramer of Herman, MN died suddenly at the Ottertail Nursing Home in Battle Lake, MN on Monday, November 28, 2005. Glenda was 56 years old.

Glenda was born August 31, 1949 in Morris, MN to John and Dora (Bruns) Kramer. She grew up in Herman and graduated from the Herman High School in 1968. After graduation Glenda went to work at a Sheltered workshop doing carpentry work in Fergus Falls. She lived in Willmar in adult foster care and was employed at a poultry manufactory for many years. When coming back to Herman, Glenda lived on her own in an apartment and worked in Hoffman's Jello factory. Glenda was always eager to work and learn new things. Due to medical reasons Glenda moved to a nursing home for expertise care. Glenda had a zest for life. She loved to crochet, knit, and do many crafts. Her love was to mow lawns and gopher hunt around the farm. Glenda had a love for people. She enjoyed talking and visiting with everyone she past. Glenda's joy for life was her great nieces and nephews. They always put a smile on her face. Glenda also loved Bingo, and it never failed, she always won her games and would give her winnings to the kids. Glenda had one particular confidant in life, Linda. Not only was Linda her sister-in-law, but also her best friend and guardian of many years. Whenever Glenda needed something or someone, Linda was there for her, in good times and in bad. Linda put on numerous miles getting to Glenda, whenever Glenda needed her, through rain, sleet, snow or hail, it didn't matter, Linda made it to her as soon as she could. Glenda believed in and lived for Linda. They were so close. They had a bond no one could break. The love between them was indestructible.

Glenda is survived by her mother: Dora Kramer, two brothers: Michael, Robert (Linda) Kramer, all of Herman. One nephew: Robert Michael (Tammi) Kramer, one niece: Kimberly Lynn (Chris) Dalseide, two great nieces: Kendra Jae Dalseide and Abbey Kramer, two great nephews: Payton Dalseide and Andrew John Kramer, and one very special aunt Margaret Kramer and a very special uncle George (Joyce) Kramer. Many cousins, aunts and uncles.

Glenda was preceded in death by her father: John Kramer, one sister Sharon, her grandparents: Andrew and Grace Kramer, Frank and Hanna Bruns. Many aunts and uncles.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 2, 2005 at the United Methodist Church in Herman. Rev. Mark Winther and Rev. Joe Carpenter officiated. Pallbearers were: Dany Pederson, Dennis Hoernemann, Daniel Oachs, Dale Ennen, Lane Wirtjes, Josh Winther, Christopher Dalseide, and her nephew, Robert M. Kramer. Honorary pallbearers were: Kimberly (Kramer) Dalseide, Kendra Dalseide, Payton Dalseide, Abbey Kramer, Andrew John Kramer. Interment will be at the Eden Reformed Cemetery in rural Herman, MN.

The Ranney Funeral Home of Wheaton and Herman was in charge of arrangements.
