Viola Kelzer, 76, of the Bryant and Willow Lake areas, died early Sunday morning, August 7, 2005 in a Watertown hospital following a brief illness.

Viola Kelzer was born May 4, 1929 in Willow Lake, SD to Frank and Hannah (Cordts) Bruns. She attended school through the eighth grade. Following her education, Viola held various jobs in businesses throughout the Willow Lake community. She worked for and ran the café in Willow Lake for 20 years.

On June 11, 1946, Viola married Edward Kelzer in Willow Lake. Viola moved to Clark in 1979 where she worked at McCain Foods until retiring in 2000; at that time, she moved into the South Park Assisted Living Center in Bryant where she was a resident. Viola's earthly life ended early Sunday morning, August 7, 2005 in a Watertown hospital at the age of 76.

She will be sadly missed by her two children and their spouses, Arnold and Betty Kelzer, Bath, SD; Arlene & Jerry Brower, Willow Lake, SD; three granddaughters and their spouses, Lisa & Jeff Clauson, Jennifer & Jeff Thompson, Kathy & Jesse VanHeukelom, four great grandchildren, one sister, Dora Kramer, Herman, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, six children, three brothers, one sister.
