"Senior over-Joy-ed with prize by David Jala Calgary Sun

"City senior Joy Ward is all revved up about winning a brand new Harley Davidson motorcycle - but she says it's unlikely she'll be cruising this summer.

Ward, 73, won the violet Softail Custom yesterday in STARS lottery 96.

''How do I get on this thing?' she asked.

'This old girl getting on a bike is pretty wild. I'd love to keep the Harley and let my son drive me around on it, but I have some bills and it's probably best I sell it.''

"Hi Everyone,
As some of you may know, my brother Aaron passed September 5, 2023. I had a celebration life for him but his ashes haven't been placed yet. I have organized for him to be placed beside my Mom, Joy and I think August 10«sup»th«/sup» would be an ideal date. I would like to be part of this gathering by phone as we bury Aaron beside Mom in Queens Park in Calgary. On the same day I would like to visit my grandparents, Archie and Kittie Alwood who are buried in Mountain View Cemetery in Calgary.
