MRS. DAVID ALWOOD

Mrs. Harriet Alwood, beloved wife of David Alwood, passed away in High River hospital on Christmas Day, December 25th, following a short period in hospital. She was 78 years and 10 months and is survived by her husband, one daughter and two sons, Mrs. Archie Alwood of Winfield, Alberta; Winfield of California, and Buford of Meadowbank. Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 28th from Kelly Funeral chapel, with Rev. M. G. Garabedian conducting the service, and S. W. Jones in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Alwood was born in Illinois, and came with her husband to the Nanton district in 1905. She and her husband have resided in High River or at Meadowbank since leaving this district. She was very highly regarded by her neighbors and friends, all of whom join with the family in mourning the loss of a kindly wife and mother.
