'... Centuries Memorial Park, where my Pearce grandparents and aunt and uncle are buried, is in Shreveport, LA in Caddo Parish. The Physicians and Surgeons Hospital is also in Shreveport. My uncle S. J. Pearce was actually not SamJones, Jr., his name was only the initials S J. The name in our line has alwoys been spelled Pearce, but there is another line who changed the spelling to Pierce, for what reason I don't know.'
