"Naomi Alwood ST. JOE - Naomi Marie Alwood, 65, of St. Joe, died Sunday at 8 am. in Meadowhaven Nursing Home in Butler.

Mrs. Alwood was a lifelong resident of the area. She was born on Nov. 2, 1922 in Auburn to Forrest and Lola (Layman) Beaty. Her father is deceased. He mother survives and lives in St. Joe.

She was married on April 18, 1957 in Angola to Howard Alwood, who also survives.

Other survivors include on daughter, Carolyn Humbrger of St. Joe; one son, John Zimmerman of Auburn; on brothr, Chalmer 'Mike' Beaty of St. Joe; and three grandchildren.

She was a member of the St. Joe Church of Christ.

Friends may call at the Baidinger and Walter Funeral Home in Spencerville today from 2-9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Michael Duff, pastor of the St. Joe Church of Christ, will officiate.

Burial will be in the Roselawn Cemetery.

The family prefers memorial gifts to the St. Joe Church of Christ."
