'WASHINGTON ALWOOD D. 1916 WASHINGTON ALWOOD d. in Pike Twp., Fulton Co. O., Monday the 3rd. He was b. in New Philadelphia, O., Mar. 18, 1829. For the past few years he has been blind.

He m. HANNAH RICHTER, June 18, 1850. She d. Mar. 27, 1907. Two sons, 6 daughters, 13 grandchildren are surviving.

He was baptized by Rev. F. M. GIBBS in Wauseon.

Funeral Services were held in the Otttokee Church and conducted by Rev. J. A. WARTON. Burial was in the Ottokee Cem.

(His age is not given or names of brothers and sisters. Several ALWOOD families were among the early settlers in and around the area of the Salsbury Cem. Two daughters of PETER & MARY ANN SALSBURY married ALWOODS amd came to Fulton Co.about 1835.)'
