"Sam G. Klinghagen

Sam Klinghagen was born on a farm north of Worthing, SD on Apr. 25, 1899, the son of George and Lena Klinghagen. He attended rural school and grew to mandood there.

On Sep. 12, 1934 he was united in marriage to Rosezena Fincher at Sioux Falls.

They farmed their entire married life on their farm near Harrisburg. he had been a resident of the Lennox Good Samaritan Center since Apr. of 1983.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, George, J.H., Abel, Al and Henry and one sister, Lena Knock.

Following a lengthy illness, Sam died at the Lennox Good Samaritan Center on Jun. 28, 1983, having attained the age of 84 years, two months and three days.

Survivors include his widow, Rosezena; two sons: Franklin Klinghagen of rural Lennox and Leland Klinghagen of rural Harrisburg; two grandchildren; on great-grandchild; two brothers: John Klinghagen of Clara City, MN. and Mike Klinghagenof Lennox.
