Daniel is age 26 - 45, b. 1773 - 1794, a female age 0 to 10, b. 1809 - 1820, another female age 16 to 26, born 1793 - 1804.

On the same page is Peter Salsberry. This Daniel, however, seems too young to be the Daniel Salsberry we identify to be Peter's brother.

Might this be our Daniel? Might the D.L. be really D'l (an abbreviated Daniel)?

I believe this census shows Daniel Salsbury & family are living in the Sloan Culberson Hotel. Is this our Daniel Salsberry?

My guess little Daniel & Priscilla are grandchildren. This Daniel is about ten yrs. too old to be the son of Peter & Mary Salsberry. It is possible that there is a ten-yr. error.

"Hannah Hosplehorn vs Daniel Salsbury & Peter Salsbury Debt. Appeal from the Court of Common Pleas of Harrison County Ohio at August Term 1818

This day came the Parties by their Councel and on motion to the Court by the Plantiffs Counsel the Office Judgement Signed in this case in Default of a Plea was affirmed. Whereupon it is considered by the Court that the said HannahHosplehorn recover of the said Daniel Salsbury & Peter Salsbury the Sum of three hundred fifty two Dollars and ninety eight cents Debt that being the Sum really due including the costs in the court below & interest and also the Sum oftwenty four Dollars and Sixty Nine Cents being Seven Per Cent Penalty on the Appeal together with her Costs about _his _ut_ [?] in this behalf appended & the Defendants in money __. and that this Judgement be sent to the Court of commonPleas with a Special Mandate to carry the same into execution."
