SCOTLAND-Reva Mae Groen, 82, died Thursday Oct. 26, 2000, at her daughter's home in Brandon.

Reva Hora was born Nov. 26, 1917, at Clutier, Iowa. She graduated from Olivet High School and attended teachers training in Springfield. She taught rural schools until her marriage to Allen Groen on April 19, 1939. They farmed north of Olivet for 30 years. They moved into Scotland in 1969.

She was a member of many organizations, including Olivet United Methodist Church, Gideons Auxilliary and the Scotland Hospital Auxilliary.

Her survivors include two daughters: Jacqulene Kramer of Brandon, and Jeanette Lothert of Mortin, Minn.; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters; Agnes Gran and Dorothy Mura; and two brothers: Leighton and Robert Hora.

Services begin at 2 p.m., Monday at United Methodist Church in Olivet. Interment will be at Rosehill Cemetery at Scotland.

Visitation is from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Petrik-Kelley Funeral Chapel in Scotland. Visitation resumes from 6 to 9 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Olivet, with a family prayer at 7 p.m.

Visitation also begins a 9 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the church."
