'Tebbo T. Knock was born on a farm south of Lennox, South Dakota on June 10, 1900, the son of Tebbo H. and Alena Knock. He attended rural school and grew to manhood there.

On February 22, 1922 he was united in marriage to Abbie Schneiderman at Lennox. Following their marriage they lived in the Lennox area. In 1953 they moved to Willow Lake, South Dakota where they lived until June 1981 when they came toLennox to live with their daughter, Marles.

He was an active and faithful member of the Presbyterian-Reformed Church United at Willow Lake. He was also active in community affairs.

Following an illness of three months, Tebbo died at the Lennox Good Samaritan Center on May 11, 1983, having attained the age of 82 years, 11 months and one day.

Surviving are his widow, Abbie; three daughters: Mrs. Marles DeVries of rural Lennox, Mrs. Alvin (Ardell) Timmerman of Lennox, and Mrs. Harold (Evelyn) Whirledge of rural Bryant; one son: Arthur Knock of rural Bryant; 22 grandchildren; 31great-grandchildrenk two sisters: Mrs. George (Lena) Symens of Elbow Lake, Minnesota, and Mrs. Tena Meyer of Custer.'
