Mrs. Ray Noble, age 81, of Ocheyedan, died Saturday, January 4, at the Hartley Community Hospital. Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 7, at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist church in Ocheyedan. The Rev. Harold Butts was in charge of services. Interment was in the Ocheyedan Township Cemetery. Walton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Anna Johnson was born June 18, 1893, in Hardin county, the daughter of Conrad and Hilda Schipper) Johnson. November 26, 1913 she was united in marriage to Ray Noble at Ocheyedan. They were married 61 years last November and have spent all their married life in Osceola county.

Mrs. Noble is survived by her husband, Ray; three sons; Merle and Delbert of Ocheyedan and Art of Maynard, Minn.; two daughters: Fern (Mrs. Lawrence Ketel) of Wanda, Minn., and Evelyn (Mrs. Lester Gross) of Spirit Lake; 30 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and by two sisters, Christina (Mrs. Roy Noble) and Lena (Mrs. Ubbe Groenewold).

She was preceded in death by one son, Arnold, and one daughter, Marlys (Mrs. Calvin Schipper), one brother and two sisters.

Casket bearers were grandsons of the deceased.

The congregation sang "How Great Thou Art" and a quartet composed of Mrs. Don Noble, Mrs. Lawrence Dirks, Keigh Falck and Ervin Howard sang "Sometime We'll Understand" and "Asleep in Jesus." Accompanist was Mrs. John Stahl, Jr.
