Theodore's Obituary
Ted Beuckens, Sioux Falls, SD, retired warehouse foreman at Midwest Oil, died January 21, 2006, at Avera McKennan Hospital. He was 74.
Theodore E. Beuckens was born September 28, 1931, to Dick and Nancy (Wieman) Beuckens in McCook County, SD. He attended public schools in Sioux Falls and Canton, SD. In 1951, Ted began working in the warehouse at Midwest Oil.

Ted was united in marriage to Donna Webb on October 25, 1952, in Sioux Falls. He continued his career with Midwest Oil until his retirement as warehouse foreman in 2000.

Ted enjoyed woodworking. Over the years he had made a number of wooden crafts and projects. In his free time, he liked going fishing. Ted looked forward to springtime planting and kept busy during the summer months caring for his vegetable gardens. Resourceful, reserved and fun loving, he cherished spending time with his grandchildren. Ted would never turn away from helping a friend in time of need. His caring and helpful spirit will be long treasured.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Donna, Sioux Falls, SD; son, Kevin Beuckens and his wife, Julie, Sioux Falls, SD; daughter, Julie Jepp and her fiancé, Gary Jeratowski, Wentworth, SD; six grandchildren, Amanda, Allison, Cody, Justin, Bradley, and Kyle; brothers, Edward Beuckens, Sebastapol, CA, Earl Beuckens and his wife, Leona, Green Valley, AZ, Harvey Beuckens and his wife, Audrey, Hoffman, MN, Alvin Beuckens and Martha, Canton, SD, Francis Beuckens and his wife, Rosemary, Sioux Falls, SD, and Marvin Beuckens and his wife, Phyllis, Sioux Falls, SD; and his sister, Matilda Czeczox, Sioux Falls, SD. he was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, Jeffrey, grandson, Christopher Sampson, granddaughter, Jennifer Sampson, a brother, Harold, and a sister, Alice.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to the Sioux Falls Humane Society.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation begins at noon, Tuesday, with the family present to greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00 Tuesday evening at Miller Funeral Home, 13th and Main Avenue."
