Text of Marian's obituary in the Milford Mail 17 Sept 1964:

"Funeral Pending For Marian Bever

Funeral services are pending at the Leyson Funeral Home for Mrs. Marian Beaver, 70, long-time resident of Milford, who died Tuesday morning, September 15, in a hospital at St. Petersburg, Florda, after suffering a heart attack Monday.

Mrs. Bever left Milford Thursday driving a car for Mrs. Ann Borchard and expected to vacation there two weeks before returning home. Her body will arrive in Milford Saturday.

She was married December 18, 1912, to the late Roy Bever, who died in 1950 following a heart attack while on a business trip to Early. Following their marriage the couple farmed west of Milford until they moved to Milford in 1936. She was the former Marian Stapleton of Lake Park.

Surviving are two sons, Blair of Los Angeles, Calif., Rex of Milford; two daughters, Mrs. Elba (Nellie) Kilts of Perry and Mrs.. Ruby (Shirley) Schoorman of rural Milford. She was also preceded in death by a son and daughter who died in 1933."
