Eugene Lynn Geerdes Birth 13 Jan 1950 Death 23 Mar 1950 (aged 2 months) Burial First Christian Reformed Cemetery Wellsburg, Grundy County, Iowa, USA Memorial ID 157195884

Eugene Lynn Geerdes, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Gratus Geerdes, died last Thursday at the age of two months and ten days. Death was caused by a heart ailment. The parents reside on a farm three miles west of Wellsburg.

Funeral services were held at the home at one o'clock on Saturday and later at the First Christian Reformed church. Rev. Joseph VandeKieft was the officiating pastor. Burial was in the cemetery adjoining the church.

Surviving to mourn the loss of the child are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gratus Geerdes; two brothers, James Harold and Robert John; one sister, Norma Jean. Also the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stubbe.
