ACKLEY - Gregory A. Stubbe, 58, of Ackley, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, at Mercy Medical Center, Mason City.
He was born Oct. 15, 1952, in Eldora, son of LuVerne and Kathryn Reece Stubbe. He married Karen Schipper on July 27, 1979, at St. John's Church, Ackley.
Mr. Stubbe graduated from Ackley-Geneva High School in 1970 and in 1973 enlisted in the U.S. Army. He worked as a mail contractor for Pearly Acres Trucking.
Survived by: his wife; a son, Jeremy of Ackley; a daughter, Kendsey of Altoona; two brothers, Terry (Connie) of Ackley and Randy of Newton; and a sister, Angela (Kevin) Montgomery of Beaman.
Preceded in death by: his parents; and a sister-in-law, Deb Stubbe.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. John's United Church of Christ, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery, both in Ackley. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Sietsema Funeral Home, Ackley.
