It is my hypothesis George is not the name given this individual in Ostfriesland. George would be an Anglicazation of an Ostfriesland name.

Onne Bohlen brought hisr children to these United States in 1912 & settled in proximo Hills, MN. Onne's wife, Martha Onkes, died 19 Sec 1909.

The FHL microfilm covering the town of Marienhafe adjacent to Westermoordorf where Onne was born is 1,187,716. Westermoordorf is a part of Berumerfehn.

George's mother, Onne Bohlen's wife, is identified in Onne's obituary.
