"Beatrice J. Ancell July 29, 1925 - March 12, 2012 Des Moines, Iowa ... Bea, 86, passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 at Calvin Community. Her funeral will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 15 at Epworth United Methodist Church. Private family burial will be at Chapel Hill Gardens.

Bea is remembered by her husband, Ray Ancell; children: David Ancell of Lansing, MI, Jeanne Paschall of Elida, OH, Beverly Conrey of Murfreesboro, TN, and Cindy Dunahoo of Brentwood, TN; sister, Irene Evans of Webster City; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Irene Evans

Irene J Evans, 91 of Webster City, Iowa, died on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at the VanDiest Medical Center, in Webster City. Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) is caring for the family's needs.

Irene was born on March 21, 1931 to Ben and Katharine (Abels) Meyering, in Lakota, Iowa. She graduated from Blairsburg High School, and then attended AIB in Des Moines. She worked at Meredith Publishing, Brin's Furniture, and the Webster City Medical Clinic.

On December 26, 1951, she married Eugene King, in Blairsburg, Iowa. The couple had one child, Duane, before Eugene passed away in 1957. She married Kenneth Evans on December 27, 1963, they had one child Glen. Kenneth passed away in 1985. Irene adored her granddaughter, Autumn Evans.

Irene's family includes her son Glen (Dr. Gretchen) Evans, of Pekin IL; granddaughter Autumn Evans of Pekin, IL. She was preceded in death by both husbands; son Duane in 2012; her parents; sister and brother-in-law Beatrice and Raymond Ancell.
