The bride wore a navy blue dress with brown hat and slippers.

The new Mrs. Machwart attended Coshocton high school, and Mr. Machwart was graduated from Keene high school in 1941. He is engaged in farming on Route 3, where they will make their home. ..." <>

"Walter M. Machwart Obituary

COSHOCTON: Walter Marshall Machwart, 86, of Coshocton, Ohio, passed away at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday, February 6, 2010. He was born in Keene Twp., in Coshocton Co., Ohio, on March 2, 1923, the son of the late Joseph Marshall and Ada (Winklepleck) Machwart. He graduated from Keene High School in 1941, then served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Heretired from General Electric in Coshocton, and was a local farmer and carpenter. He was a member of the Coshocton County Farm Bureau. On July 24, 1943, he married Norene (West) Machwart, who survives. Also surviving are his children, James Dwight (Betty) Machwart of Ashland, Ohio, Barbara Lee Tartir of Wooster, Ohio, and Rebecca (David) Leasure of Fresno, Ohio; six grandchildren, Mark Leasure, Connie Desender, Jamal Tartir, MaryTartir, Andrew Machwart, and Ben Machwart; and two great grandchildren, Logan and Lyndsey Desender. Mr Machwart was preceded in death by one brother, Clyde; and two sisters, Mary and Alice Machwart. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Given Dawson Funeral Home in Coshocton on Friday, February 12, 2010, at 1:30pm, with Pastor Coralee Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette. The familywill receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 11, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. Contributions for those who wish can be made to the American Heart Association , envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
