Mrs. J. M. Machwart, 74, Route 3, died at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday at County Memorial hospital following a three-week illness.

Ada Winklepleck was born in Keene township Aug. 20, 1883, a daughter of the late James and Nancy Jack Winklepleck. She was married July 16, 1908, to J. M. Machwart, who survives with one son, Walter, Route 3; three daughters, Mrs. HowardLowe, Fresno Route 3, Miss Alice Machwart, Cambridge; one sister, Mrs. Frank Dewitt, West Lafayette Route 1; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One son and one brother preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Gibson-Bontrager funeral home and burial will be in Amity cemetery.
