"Pauline M. Veer February 1, 1932 - April 10, 2016

Pauline Margaret Veer passed away peacefully Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Cottagewood Senior Community.

Pauline was born February 1, 1932 in Lakota, Iowa to Roelf and Albertha Miller.

She graduated from Lakota High School in 1949.

Pauline married Carl Veer Jr., on October 24, 1950, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. After their marriage Carl and Pauline farmed near Adams, Minnesota for several years before settling in Rochester, Minnesota. Pauline was employed with Olmsted County as a Deputy Clerk of Court for twenty years before retiring in 1988.

Pauline is survived by her husband Carl, three children; Kathy Ferguson (Dale) of Rochester, Minnesota, Jon Veer (Kay Hocker) of Rochester, Minnesota, and Paul Veer (Jerrilyn) of Wabasha Minnesota; three grandchildren, Joshua Ferguson of Charleston, South Carolina, Travis Ferguson of Los Angeles, California, and John Ostgard of Los Angeles, California; two sisters, Loretta Ricklefs of Algona, Iowa, and Ruth Eckhart of Portage, Indiana. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents and sister Lois Winter.

Pauline loved gardening - especially colorful flowers, cooking and baking, golf, bowling,
traveling, spending time with family and was a faithful member of Christ United
Methodist Church.

A funeral service will be held 11:00AM Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester. Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00PM Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. The family prefers all memorials to the Alzheimers Association 3224 6th Ave. NE Unit A, Rochester, MN 55906. To share a special memory or condolence, please visit www.ranfranzandvinefh.com
