"Roelf Eilers Miller, 82

Funeral services for Roelf Eilers Miller, 82, of Fenton were held Monday afternoon, October 28 at 1:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Fenton with the Rev. Donald Jones officiating. Mr. Miller died Saturday, October 26. WinterFuneral Service was in charge of arrangements and interment was in Graceland Cemetery.

Casketbearers were Jon Veer, Paul Veer, Larry Ricklefs, Roger Ricklefs, Tim Winter and Ken Williams. Honorary Casketbearers were Dale Johnson, Gary McEwen, Dale Ferguson, Alan Winter, Tom Eckhart and Dale Eckhart. Maxine Osborn,organist, gave an organ solo, "My God and I".

Roelf E. Miller was born on a farm near Buffalo Center, Iowa on September 20, 1903 to Samuel and Effie Miller.

He was married to Albertha Adams on December 23, 1930. They lived for some time in Lakota then moved to Fenton, Iowa. He has been a resident of Algona's Good Samaritan Center for the last three years. He was a member of the UnitedMethodist Church, Fenton, Iowa.

He is survived by three daughters: Pauline, Mrs. Carl Veer, Jr., Rochester, Minnesota; Loretta, Mrs. Melvin Ricklefs, Algona; and Ruth Eckhart, Gary, Indiana also 13 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Albertha; one daughter, Lois; his parents, three brothers and two sisters." <>
